A Massive Thank You to our Many Festival Supporters

It’s finally arrived…the Festival is next weekend, the 20-22nd September! And before it happens, we’d like to extend a big thank you to our many supporters in and around the town.

Our small but effective team of volunteers has worked tirelessly, and for free, to create what is shaping up to be a fabulous weekend of music, art, crafts and family fun.

None of this would have been possible without the support of the many shops, Emmanuel and All Saints churches, pubs, café’s, restaurants and other venues in Walton that have stepped up to provide the space we need to make it happen. A special mention to Jake Race who did a great job organsing and gaining permissions form TDC for the special Saturday market and to Andreas Mina of East Coast 5 who has provided special space for our events. Many thanks to you all.

A sincere thanks to our Sponsors. Despite this being the first ever Walton Arts Festival, we’ve received the trust and sponsorship of Tendring Council, Essex County Council, the local Cultural Education Partnership, Kirby Kabs, private residents of the town, and I-Dentico printers gave us special rates for printing the Programme. And, hot off the press, we’ve just received the generous support of Lightspeed, who provide Broadband in our area and who is going to be participating in Festival events.

Thanks to all the musicians, artists and craftspeople who got behind the idea of a community festival and connected with us to make it happen. And thanks too to Derek Nash for taking time out of his busy schedule to sit in with J2Z at East Coast 5 on Friday evening.

We could go on, but you get the idea! We’re most grateful for your support and we look forward to an inspiring, fun and successful Festival.
